Day 25-Wait

Here is the next installment of my Five Minute Free Writes Challenge.

Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord! Psalm 27:14(ESV)

Each day wakes with new anticipation. Will today be the day? Will today bring answers?

Sadly, the answers that are sought remain as the mist in morning fog. So the wait continues! God’s timing is not ours and if focus shifts from the Lord to the world it can become discouraging.

Walking through each day, wanting and waiting. Clinging to truth. I take courage because I am the Lords and He knows best for me.

While walking through the wait eyes stay focused on Him and wait patiently. Keeping eyes off the world and on Him. Because of Him I have hope.

Does one just stand still in the wait? Absolutely not! During the wait, with eyes on Him, Be of service to others and trust Him in the wait.

Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way, over the man who carries out evil devices! Psalm 37:7 (ESV)
